Its my first day here @ the blogger's lane and this day has only come because it has been raining for the last three days and I have no work other than sleeping.Thought of trying out something new,so here I am ,all set to type down my thoughts.
We kolkattans have been waiting for this rain for long but now that it is here and has been pouring in buckets,we all feel like singing "rain rain go away....come again another day....".
The roads are blocked becoz of water logging;there is very less transport on the roads n so is the crowd.Children are seen at home rather than in schools and moms are working hard coz the maids have taken their leave.Such a scene takes place very rarely here in the CITY OF JOY,but it has been happening from three days n now we say "NO MORE".We all want to return back to our normal lives but i guess RAIN GOD is trying to test wether we can survive in abnormal n adverse situations!! People who are well paid and living in high raised buildings,flats,well built houses, can easily survive such conditions of flood,expensive food stuff,expensive transport!But what about the people who are living in houses fully drenched,who eat with what they income each day and are not being able to go out for the rains!Befor putting in the test universally on man,has God thought of it!!I guess the answer lies in the news of numerous people dying becoz of the rains.Hmmmmm.....philosophical indeed! Its not for me to decide.....its not for u to decide......its not for anyone to decide.....except HIM! As Nature has ruled the survival of the fittest....what all we can do as of now is to stay fit,try to enjoye the rains as the trees,the leaves,the chirping birds are doing and say "life is beautiful".......sigh!!
